Bengbu Changes - 2 - Skyline

I did some interesting comparisons between Bengbu in 2007 versus 2014.  Just 7 years.


2007 - notice the blue awnings of the open air street market vendors:

 2014 - notice the cluster of skyscrapers in the background, and the large pair of skyscrapers going up in the foreground.  Notice the stark absence of the awnings.  Such a pity that they are gone:

2014: Notice 2 new skyscraper clusters on the horizon

2007: View approaching the current orphanage (still under construction at the time)

2014: Same approach to the orphanage.

2007: Again, same photo as above -  notice no buildings around the orphanage.  Imagine looking out of the upper floor of the 2nd highest structure in the cluster of buildings below.  Looking out, I didn't see much.  Compare this with the views below of what I see now in 2014

 2007: The grounds of the orphanage, when landscaping was started.  Notice at the top right of the picture - no skyscrapers.
